Utilizing Best-in-Class Business Techniques to Improve How NRS Injury Law Gets Results for Clients
Rob Bordonaro is the Chief Operating Officer at NRS Injury Law. He oversees business operations, analyzes processes, implements systems, and identifies new ways to improve process flow, enabling the firm’s attorneys and support team to be more efficient and effective in representing their clients.
From Working Tradesman to Corporate Executive to Operations Officer for Ohio’s Largest Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury Law Firm
Rob’s father was a high school social studies teacher in Wickliffe who moonlighted as a house painter during the summer months. Rob started working for his dad painting homes when he was 13 and eventually took over the business while in college. During his high school years, Rob held a second job working at a local hardware store. Those two jobs provided him a view of what a true hard day’s work really is and through those opportunities he paid his way through college.
For more than three decades after graduating from Miami University with a business degree, Rob excelled in the corporate, business, and sole proprietor worlds. From 1990 to 2023, he worked for national corporations, healthcare institutions, and Fortune 100 companies, serving in sales, management, product, marketing, operations, and client experience leadership roles. In 2022, he began consulting part-time at NRS Injury Law, and after a year he knew this was a firm that truly desired to make a difference in clients’ lives. He joined full time as COO in November of 2023.
Implementing New Systems to Improve Operations and Better Serve Clients
“My goal is to create a superior and differentiated client experience while always looking to improve our team’s overall engagement,” Rob said. “Our Ops mission is to find where bottlenecks are occurring, then we pull the team together responsible for those specific processes, garner their direct feedback and input, and then we thoughtfully craft ways to improve the processes so that our attorneys can focus on serving the firm’s clients to the best of their abilities.”
Work/Life Balance
When Rob isn’t working at the law firm, he enjoys spending time with his family. Rob and his two daughters religiously watch football together, and he proudly takes full credit for turning them into football super fans. They never miss a Cleveland Brown’s game and support their Brown’s no matter what! Every year, Rob travels with his family to a vacation destination of their choosing, and on weekends, he takes to the green at Stonewater Country Club.
Don’t Wait to Seek Help from Rob Bordonaro and NRS Injury Law
“I try to take all of the things I’ve learned in my 30+ year career in many different vertical markets and apply them to improve the client and employee experience every day,” Rob said in closing. “I believe our team truly cares and NRS Injury Law is about helping others. What’s so exciting for me is that this law firm of 140+ team members has the ethos and culture of a family practice, yet it is the largest workers’ compensation law firm in the state and it positively impacts the lives of thousands of Ohio workers every year.”
Rob’s desire to help others and his knack for improving interpersonal relations within a business landscape align perfectly with NRS Injury Law’s mission to: “Provide empathetic and patient service to every person who calls the firm, and to relentlessly pursue the best possible outcome on behalf of every client by putting collective experience, knowledge, and passion to work every day.” To retain an effective legal team with a proven track record and to speak with Rob and the firm about your case, call 855.468.4878 or fill out a convenient online contact form.
