Leveraging a Lifetime in Law to Get Results for Clients

Steven Aronoff is an Attorney at NRS Injury Law, focusing on workers’ compensation law. Building on 25 years at the Ohio Attorney General’s office and 10 years in private practice before that, Steven draws on his extensive legal knowledge to help injured workers secure compensation.

A Storied Legal Career in Ohio

When Steven was a young man, going to law school just seemed like the right thing to do, since his father was a practicing attorney and his older brother was already in his third year of law school. “But it wasn’t all pencils, papers, and textbooks for me,” Steven said, reflecting on his youth. “Before I became a law student, I worked on a printing press for a company that made printed materials for businesses.”

Steven’s hands-on experience in the printing trade instilled in him a work ethic that no teacher could teach. A young Steven soon found himself working part-time jobs while studying for his undergrad degrees. While a student at Case Western Reserve University Law School, Steven clerked for a prestigious law firm during summer break. In his second and third year at Case Western, Steven was invited on the law school’s Law Review, and in his third year was a research advocacy and writing advisor, with a focus on labor and employment.

Helping Injured Workers

After passing the bar in 1986, Steven dedicated his life to providing legal representation in the labor field, first at a private firm and then at the Ohio Attorney General’s office. “By the time I arrived at NRS Injury Law in 2023, I’d already provided representation at every side of labor, employment, and workers’ compensation disputes,” Steven said. Sure enough, throughout his career, Steven has served as legal counsel for employers, employees, and the state, giving him a nuanced perspective and a rare insight into how the opposition counsel will build their case.

“After decades upon decades in this field, I’m fully dedicated to ensuring Ohio workers get a fair shake, that their interests are represented, and that they secure the compensation they deserve,” Steven said. Today, Steven assists the firm by meeting with clients, learning their case, listening to what they have to say, and strategizing to build a case that will win. Steven prepares clients for deposition, walks them through the process, and brings them into the fold so that the firm and the client can adopt a teamwork-based approach to winning the case.

Work/Life Balance

When he’s not working at the firm’s Euclid office or meeting clients where they are, Steven likes to travel, kayak, and fish. He believes strongly in continuing education, so Steven will sign up for courses at his local community college, and he is an avid reader.Don’t Wait to Seek Legal Help from Steven Aronoff

“I like helping people and learning their stories,” Steven said. “Believe it or not, I actually came out of retirement to work at NRS Injury Law. Why? Well, I spent my legal career working in the same circles that NRS Injury Law operated in, and I was always impressed with how much they cared about their clients.” Steven emphasized that being there for your client in their time of need is one of the most important things an attorney can do. “Lawsuits are not a normal part of life that most people have to deal with,” Steven said in closing. “So when they do happen, you need an organization that will double down on taking care of you, and NRS Injury Law does just that.”

Steven’s compassion for injured workers, his 40+ year background as an attorney, and his ability to listen, learn, and prepare clients for cases all align perfectly with NRS Injury Law’s mission to: “Provide empathetic and patient service to every person who calls the firm, and to relentlessly pursue the best possible outcome on behalf of every client by putting collective experience, knowledge, and passion to work every day.” To retain an effective legal team with a proven track record, and to speak with the firm about your case, call 855-468-4878 or fill out aconvenient online contact form.
